In fact I made us a different one each day. Each one has been equally delicious. Even sweet without any added sugar. I cannot recommend this book enough.
Today I made a Chocolate Kale smoothie. Yes, I said chocolate! The superfood used in this recipe is Cacao. The two forms I keep in my pantry are the powder and nibs. Both are great in smoothies. Cacao is chocolate in the raw. It is a great source of magnesium, calcium, zinc, iron, and calcium. Cacao is energizing, increases serotonin levels, is an excellent source of antioxidants, helps reduce cholesterol and supports a healthy heart. This is just about half of the benefits of Cacao. Best of all it is chocolate!
