My husband and I got a new Vitamixer in December and I have been looking for different recipes to make in it. I am really trying to get us to eat less processed food. (Unlike the Tastykakes my husband brought home the other day when he went food shopping without me!) All the extra sodium, sugar, and questionable ingredients just are not good for you. I am not going to lie, we will have are occasional frozen pizza, but most days of the week I am going to try and cook fresh foods.
So far, every night I have been making us new recipes to try. I get so tired of eating the same old thing every week. Most of my recipes have come from Ellie Krieger So Easy cookbook
. I love her style of cooking. She does not believe in depriving you. She uses mostly the real stuff, just in moderation. So far none of her recipes have disappointed us. The Cherry Vanilla Smoothie below was from this cookbook and is delicious!
